effectiveness of cognitive – behavioral education in reduction of exhaustion of cancer of women suffering from breast cancer

objective: the aim of the present study was to investigate effectiveness of cognitive – behavioral education on reduction of exhaustion of cancer in women suffering from breast cancer. method: 30 people were chosen among clients of imam khomeini hospital ( of tehran in 1392 ) and were randomly assigned to two groups , experiment group (15 people ) and control group. groups before education and after education responded to cancer fatigue scale (okuyama, et al., 2000). to analyze the results, the staistical metods of multivariate covariance analysis was conducted. results:the results showed , there is a meaningful difference between both groups in components of exhaustion of cancer , so that average of test group had a meaningful reduction after test . conclution: in view of changes that cognitive – behavioral education make them in attitude and cognition, it seems that it can have an effective role in making positive imagination in patients suffering from cancer and reducing their fatigue.
